Remo vs Gremio Highlights & Replay

The Serie A clash between Remo and Gremio delivered high stakes and intense physical play from the opening whistle. Played on October 8, 2026, this encounter was characterized by a tactical struggle that tested the discipline of both squads throughout the first half.

A Battle of Discipline

From the outset, the referee was kept busy as both teams struggled to keep their composure in a heated atmosphere. Gremio found themselves in the book early and often, with Vitor Bueno receiving a yellow card in the 10th minute. The trend continued as Cristian Pavon and Dodi were also cautioned within the first half-hour. Remo was not immune to the referee’s scrutiny either; Bill saw yellow in the 35th minute as the match became a stop-start affair dominated by midfield collisions rather than fluid attacking moves.

Kannemann Silences the Crowd

Despite the frequent interruptions, the first half had one final twist in store during stoppage time. In the 45+3rd minute, veteran defender Walter Kannemann rose to the occasion, finding the back of the net to give Gremio a vital lead. It was a clinical finish that rewarded the visitors' persistence and broke the deadlock just seconds before the halftime whistle, shifting the momentum entirely in favor of the away side heading into the break.
